Prenatal or Postpartum Massage

Pregnancy massage focuses on addressing the special needs of expecting women. Full body prenatal or postpartum massage session addressing issues specific to pregnancy (such as: low back discomfort, round ligament pain, swelling in hands or feet, and spinning babies techniques done in the 3rd Trimester to balance mom's pelvis and encourage baby to get in the optimal position for birth) or postpartum discomfort (such as: sore back, arms and neck from holding baby or the rigors of pushing or scar tissue management) Specially-designed massage tables, cushions, and side-lying postures are used to prevent putting pressure on the abdomen. Postpartum massage is done in the first 12 weeks after delivery to address the specific needs related to this period of recovery.

Offering Support that is informative and compassionate.

Learn how your loved one can assist you during pregnancy and provide support in labor. Learn the physiology and psychology of birth and how to best work with a woman's laboring body using the comfort of touch, encouragement, breathing techniques and positioning to make the most of each contraction. 

Here for You

This service is provided in your home.  4-hour shift day and 8 hour overnight shifts available. Includes: newborn care, parent coaching, infant massage training, learning comforting and soothing techniques, light housework (laundry, tiding, vacuuming, dishes), meal prep, infant bathing, assisting with other children or just being there so you can rest.
